What is Endometriosis?
Endometriosis is the abnormal growth of endometrial tissue similar to that which lines the interior of the uterus, but in a location outside of the uterus. The exact cause of Endometriosis is unknown. It is thought to be due to a combination of several factors including:
- Retrograde Menstruation
- Immune Dysfunction
- Environmental Factors
About the Study
Our office in Stone Oak is enrolling women in a clinical research study that evaluates the safety and effectiveness of a new investigational drug. To qualify, participants must be 18 or older and be diagnosed with Endometriosis.
Participants in this study will receive study-related investigational medications at no cost, as well as study-related medical examinations. Participants may be reimbursed for their time and travel.
