What is Atopic Dermatitis?

Atopic Dermatitis is a condition that causes inflammation of the skin. Atopic Dermatitis affects the skins ability to protect itself which causes the skin to be easy affected by environmental factors, irritants, and allergens. A person may be at high risk of developing Atopic Dermatitis if they have a family history of eczema, often experience allergies, and diagnosed with Asthma.

Symptoms of Atopic Dermatitis may cause the skin to become:

  • Dry
  • Itchy
  • Swollen from scratching
  • Red and Irritated

Our Dermatologist, Dr. Baxter, is now seeking Teenagers between the ages of 12 and 17 diagnosed with Atopic Dermatitis to participate in a clinical study to help evaluate the efficacy of a new investigational Eczema medication on the skin.

Participants in this study may receive:

  • Compensation for time and travel
  • Study-related medication at no cost
  • Study-related examinations at no cost

This study requires:

  • Up to 30 in clinic visits every other week for 52 weeks
  • IMP route of administration (injections)
